Lisa Agasee
Music has always been an inherent part of Lisa’s life. A classically-trained pianist from the age of seven, a fateful meeting with a well-known music publicist proved to be the catalyst for her to pursue a career in the mainstream music business. At the age of 17, she joined EMI as a publicist, progressing to CBS/Sony Music where she worked closely with developing and worldwide selling artists for over a decade, building up an exceptional reputation within the UK press.
Her many years of organising artists’ publicity and tour schedules and trouble-shooting, endlessly honed her managerial skills. The countless hours spent on damage limitation and client support equipped her with the inventiveness, humour and creativity to tackle a wide variety of problems and situations. She has never been afraid of getting her hands dirty.
As well as the many household-name musicians she has worked with, Lisa diversified further into comedy, art and film. For three years, she was part of the Awards team at film industry specialist Premier PR, working on BAFTA campaigns for Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Pathe, and Entertainment Films.
Lisa’s nurturing nature combined with her love of organisation and supporting others, led her to make the career transition to Personal Assistant. She launched her own One Woman Workforce business in 2014, drawing on her diverse experience across the board to support a roster of private clients, artists, start-ups and established businesses. For almost a decade, she was the right hand to theatre producer and media personality John Reid, who was a leading force in worldwide artist management responsible for guiding the careers of Elton John, Queen, Billy Connolly, Barry Humphries, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Michael Flatley amongst others.
